Chalcidian Type Bronze Helmet Ca. 300-200 BC With Horse Hair Crest
The Greek Chalcidian Helmet is a standard helm. Made of bronze with hinged cheek pieces. The interior of the helmet has a padding inner– included a padded cotton arming cap that can be worn beneath the helmet to provide cushioning and comfort.
An extremely elaborate helmet with a tall swan protome on the crest, openings for the ears, repousse locks of hair over the brow, and hinged anatomical cheek pieces.
