A flat, light shoe after a late medieval pattern, with a belt buckle over the instep, the sole is also fixed with nails and very stable.

The robustness of shoes according to historical patterns may not meet the modern requirements! They are quite sensitive to asphalt, concrete stones and gravel. These floor coverings did not exist in the Middle Ages! insoles or to retrofit them with rubber soles at the shoemaker of your choice.

Ordering is simple, upon making the order please discuss with us your shoe size as we keep plenty in stock, but if your shoe size is not in our normal stock range, we can make you one especially. Sizes usually come in standard EU shoe sizes.

Please also keep in mind that leather is a natural product and variations in colour and grain are quite normal. Each pair of leather shoes is thus unique and above pictures are for reference only.
