These sabatons were crafted with flexibility in mind, allowing the wearer to move, lunge and keep their dexterity in the heat of battle. Custom made, we can create them to fit over your favorite pair of shoes, you just have to supply your measurements!
 

The heel portion of the sabaton is made from 1.5mm stainless steel and is held together by a hinge on one side and a sturdy leather strap with a period-appropriate cast brass buckle on the other. The overlapping plates that create the beautifully articulated bend are allow for better movement, and these sabatons come to a handsome point at the tip. An additional plate has been added at the front of the ankle to provide a little bit of extra protection.
