The Montefortino helmet was the standard helm of the Republican Roman Legionary and would have seen service with Caesar's legions. Made of brass with side straps to tie the helmet. The interior of the helmet has a padding inner– included a padded cotton arming cap that can be worn beneath the helmet to provide cushioning and comfort.
