Helmet discovered at Yarm in Yorkshire, England in 1950.
For years Yarm's helmet belonged to a private collection.
Reconstruction by Chris Caple and published in "Medieval Archeology" 64/1, 2020.
Made of 2mm "st3" steel. Nasal / mask part 3mm thickness.
Everything is hand-forged.
(Please note- rings of 9mm chainmail will be round ring with alternating solid ring dome riveted.)

-Care Instructions- Keep away from water. Clean with a metal polish and re-oil occasionally to properly maintain the armour. Use leather-care products for the fittings.

-Comes with an adjustable padding liner and chin strap of cotton
-Mild steel chainmail round circle riveted rings 9mm 18 gauge wire
