This Greek aspis hoplite shield is made of lots of plywood and joint together with the help of tiny nails of steel and the wood covered in linen, external side finished with gesso and mixture of glue and plaster as a preparation for decoration with gorgoneion

The brass hardware are made of 1.2mm thickness which is strong and added leather handle for holding the shield, porpax to give a smooth comfortable to your hands.
