This Greek aspis hoplite shied is made of lots of plywood and joint together with the help of tiny nails of steel and the wood covered in linen, external side finished with gesso and mixture of glue and plaster as a preparation for decoration.

The bronze hardware are made of 1.2mm thickness which is strong and added leather and padding of linen inside the porpax to give a smooth comfortable to your hands.

We have added leather edges in the shield to keep it for hours on your shoulder.
